The Warner Ranch is a good grass outfit in northeastern Wyoming located between Newcastle and Wright. It’s well watered and has a good set of working corrals. This is a low-overhead grass ranch located in a first-rate antelope area.

Property and Current Operation:
The ranch consists of 1,600 deeded acres of rolling plains country in one contiguous block. In recent years the ranch has been utilized for summer pasture. It is cross-fenced into four main pastures plus a gathering pen near the corrals.

Water & Improvements:
Good water resources are spread throughout the property including an electric well with water line to several tanks and a solar well with tank. The water tanks are scattered throughout the property for better pasture utilization and the pipeline also runs to the corrals. The old homestead location has a mobile home hook-up, corrals with working pens, loading chute and loafing shed. Out in the pasture west of the corrals there’s a storm shed and several windbreaks.

Terrain:
The terrain includes native hard-grass pastures and some tillable land which is being utilized for improved pasture. The ranch sits at an elevation of 4,150 feet above sea level with long range views toward the Black Hills, which is about a 45-minute drive from the ranch.

Access & Location:
The ranch is located west of Newcastle about 16 miles at the junction of Howard Road and Dunham Road. It’s 10.5 miles southwest of Highway 16 or 8.5 miles northwest of Highway 450.
