Deerfield Lake Recreation Area provides opportunities to fish for brook, splake and rainbow trout, non-motorized boating, campgrounds, picnic areas, mountain biking trails, hiking and horseback riding trails. The Black Hills Snowmobile Trail System is also close by.

Access & Location:
This secluded location is 1.4 miles northeast of Moon, South Dakota via Sixmile Road then 3/10th of a mile on a private trail shared with neighboring properties. This trail comes into the south side of the property and then goes on to other private properties. Sixmile Road (Forest Service Road #301) connects to several other roads that go deeper into the Black Hills or toward the towns of Custer, Hill City, Deadwood, Rapid City and Newcastle.

Remarks:
This back country property could be a great out of the way place for a summer vacation spot, hunting base camp, recreational retreat or winter snowmobile destination. Remote and picturesque Black Hills land in an area synonymous with recreation.
